It’s that time again. So here it is… Our entry into the sci-fi London 48-hour film challenge . Enjoy 🙂
After a days script development on Saturday we grabbed a few hours sleep. Then, just after dawn on Sunday, we drove into London to film in the empty streets. It was a lovely morning (…after the never-ending cold of March it actually felt like spring for a change). We were done by 10am and while the crew moved on to the boat, while I went home to matte paint. After 15hours in photoshop, I finally finished work at 5am monday.
It was all shot on a sony fs700, and post production was mostly done in the DOPs basement in Camden.
The Matte Painting
Here’s the link to my before and after images of the matte painting.
The MS Stubnitz looked like an amazing location. I’m kinda of sad I didn’t get go there and look around.
