Openprocessing is an open source programming language and environment for people who want to program images, animation, and interactions.
I’ve worked on pipelines and tools for facial animation rigs for about 7 years now. In that time a lot of has been written about Facial Expressions and Ai. In this article I summarise the reference’s I find most useful for illustration, performance and character rigging.
The Random Adventures of Brandon Generator is online project from filmmaker Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World),and comic book artist Tommy Lee Edwards (Turf, Marvel 1985). It’s difficult to describe what it really is. But it kinda sits between motion comic and animation. The interesting part is how they’ve engaged the online community to contribute ideas and content.
